Welcome to Robinson apartments SMILJANKA, located on the sunniest Croatian island of Hvar, in a quiet and secluded bay Pobij, 8 km away from Gdinj.
Tomek Poborski z rodziną (Pl) – sierpień 2017 – wakacje tego roku spędziliśmy na wyspie Hvar w apartamencie Smiljanka 2. Był to jeden z naszych bardziej udanych wyjazdów wakacyjnych, a to za sprawą: gościnności naszych gospodarzy oraz ich rodziny, którzy tworzyli przyjazną, rodzinną atmosferę oraz wspaniałej okolicy cieszącej oczy przepięknym krajobrazem (zarówno z lądu jak i z morza) i wolnej od tłoku i zgiełku wakacyjnych kurortów. W opisie znajdujemy, że są to wakacje w stylu „Robinson” – tak można powiedzieć nawet „Robinson – XXI wiek” – mamy dostęp do elektryczności (co prawda w ograniczonym zakresie, ale jak ktoś musi utrzymywać kontakt ze światem mediów i internetu, to nikt go nie powstrzyma – internet oczywiście we własnym zakresie i na własną odpowiedzialność :D ), dostęp do wody, kuchenkę gazową i lodówkę (również zasilaną gazem) – zatem prawie jak domu, tylko okolica ładniejsza. Ze względu na odległość zatoczki od większych skupisk ludzkich, wskazane jest zrobienie większych zakupów żywnościowych w markecie (najlepiej jeszcze na stałym lądzie), bo aby z miejsca dojechać do marketu musimy się liczyć z wyprawą ok. 35 km (w jedną stronę do Jelsy), co przy krętych i wąskich drogach na Hvarze może zająć 1,5 do 2 godzin w obie strony plus czas na zakupy. Chleb, wodę, wino i jakieś owoce można kupić w zatoce Pokrivenik odległej od zatoki Pobij o ok. 4km (chleb trzeba zamawiać dzień wcześniej). W każdym razie zachęcam do ruszenia się z zatoczki i odwiedzenie paru miejscowości na wyspie np. miasta Hvar, Stari Grad, Vrboska czy Jelsa, a także wioski Sveta Nedjelja czy Humac, bo wszędzie coś nas zaskoczy, a po drodze również nasycimy oczy wspaniałymi krajobrazami. Let me thank you for our stay in Croatia 2016. in your apartment at Hvar. It was a very good vacation for us and our children who learned to swim there! The sea is wonderful, great for swimming and warm. The sea-bank is well cared for, clean and particularly suitable for small children – plenty of shallow water for them and their first attempts. But it will also accommodate a more demanding swimmers – I very much enjoyed little trips to neighbouring bays with a snorchel. We also enjoyed the shower on the shore (above your jetty) with warm water.
As to the apartment – your kitchen is very well equipped, there are even kitchen equipment one uses rarely, but they come in handy. The stove and oven work perfectly and the sitting in front of the kitchen is wonderful and cosy.
The bathrooms in the apartment are spacious and nice. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. There were many clean sheets to change the beds and enough storing room for more families (chests of drawers, nightstands, cupboards etc.)..
All in all, a good accommodation.

Wir waren im August 2016 mit 9 Personen (2 Familien) dort. Die Ferienwohnung liegt ganz ruhig an einer herrlichen Bucht, umgeben von Lavendel, Oliven- und Feigenbäumen. Die letzten 4-5 km zur Ferienwohnung sind allerdings Schotterwege, aber es verkehren hier nur wenige Autos. Die Zimmer sind zwar einfach eingerichtet, aber alles war sehr sauber, was will man mehr. Die Küche lag unterhalb der Schlafzimmer, was auch sehr angenehm war, denn man konnte von dort mit wenigen Schritten zum Kiesstrand laufen (bitte entsprechende Schuhe mitnehmen) und im glasklaren, warmen Wasser schwimmen, jederzeit zurück zur Ferienwohnung kommen und etwas essen oder trinken. Man konnte auch von anderen Stellen ins Wasser springen, schnorcheln, sich sonnen und Angeln konnte man auch. Leider haben wir nichts gefangen.
Die Küche hat ebenfalls alles was man braucht, nur eine Kaffeemaschine fehlte. Wir hatten auch einen großen Grill beim Haus. Der Kühlschrank wurde mit Gas betrieben und die Elektrik kam über die Sonnenenergie. Mit entsprechenden Adaptern konnte man seine Handys aufladen. Einen Fernseher gab es nicht, aber den wollten und brauchten wir nicht, denn wir wollten uns ja erholen, was uns in der Woche, wo wir dort waren, bestens gelungen ist. Wir wären gerne noch viel viel länger hier geblieben!
Es gab dort keine einzige Stechmücke und im Meer haben wir auch keine Quallen oder Seeigel gesehen. Die Besitzerin wohnte in der Ferienzeit ebenfalls unmittelbar nebenan, was natürlich sehr vorteilhaft war. Sie und Ihr Ehemann waren äußerst nett, gaben uns immer wieder Tipps. Die Besitzerin spricht fließend Englisch und verkauft auch eigene hergestellte Produkte: wie Wein, Olivenöl, Honig u.V.m.
Wir waren in den beiden von der Besitzerin vorgeschlagenen Restaurants essen, sie sind wirklich empfehlenswert. Lebensmittel mussten wir aber in der fast 40 minütig von der Ferienwohnung entfernten Stadt Jesla kaufen, welche aber auch einen Ausflug wert ist, vor allem am Abend.
Wer entspannen und sich vom Alltagsstress erholen will, ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben, denn es gibt kein Internet und Fernsehen. Nachts hört man das Meer rauschen, was will man mehr….
Das einzig nervige ist die An- und Abfahrt zur Insel HVAR. Auf der Hinfahrt 2 Std Wartezeit, auf der Rückfahrt 4 Stunden Wartezeit auf die Fähre, da muss man sich Zeit einplanen.
Danke IVANA, für einen wunderschönen erholsamen Urlaub, der noch lange in unserem Gedächtnis bleiben wird. Wir wollen wiederkommen.

Super holidays 2015. on Hvar, to bay Pobij, we went the second time. Accommodation and bay fully meet our requirements for our holidays. We live in an apartment Smiljanka for 8 people - 2 families with children. Children are sleeping together and they are satisfied. The two greatest advantage I find here - living by the sea and friendly family atmosphere. We don\'t have to go anywhere , pack our things to the water and arrange with our group when we will go to the sea and back. When the children wake up early, runs to collect shells on the beach, which is just a few steps away. Anyone can go to rest during the day, while others are by the sea. From the terrace we have an overview of whether the children play on the beach, they jump from a pier, ride on the inflatable boat or snorkel near the coast. And in the evening we can calmly sit on the terrace with views of the Makarska and the Big Dipper in the sky or go to swim in the empty sea. It is a typical dive, which corresponds to the description and photographs. We really liked it here and we're going to come back.
La baia Pobij è bellissima, gli abitanti cortesi, sorridenti e discreti e l’appartamento, sul mare, è semplice ma spazioso e ben attrezzato anche se gli ospiti trascorrono la maggior parte del tempo sulla balconata, lunga e ampia, che sta davanti alla cucina. Su questa balconata che serve diverse abitazioni, costruita proprio sul mare, gli ospiti mangiano, prendono il sole, leggono, dormicchiano e, se lo desiderano, fanno conoscenza. E’ il paradiso degli sportivi (nuoto, canoa, immersioni, pesca, mountain bike, ecc.) dei bambini (tuffi e immersioni per vedere i pesci) ma anche di chi vuole semplicemente riposarsi prendendo il sole, leggendo, cucinando tenendo sempre d’occhio eventuali figli in acqua che è perfetta, cristallina, azzurra al mattino, verde al pomeriggio. Un buon ristorantino sul mare si trova a 2 km di distanza. Un pannello solare garantisce luce a tutta la casa ma non permette l’uso di apparecchi elettrici (il frigo c’è e funziona benissimo … a gas!). L’acqua della doccia è appena appena tiepida ed è possibile unicamente ricaricare i cellulari che funzionano perfettamente come telefoni ma non per il traffico dati. Non spaventatevi: ci si abitua in fretta e anzi, ci si rende subito conto che una vacanza senza TV e internet è decisamente più interessante. Unico problema, almeno per noi: non si possono portare cani, accidenti ! In definitiva, sconsigliamo questa vacanza solo a chi desidera la folla, lo struscio e i locali notturni, troppo lontani dalla baia che si raggiunge per mezzo di una strada sterrata di 4 o 5 km. A tutti gli altri … buona vacanza, vi piacerà da pazzi. Approfittatene prima che arrivi la corrente elettrica, l’acqua calda, la strada asfaltata, internet e … la folla !
Pobij je překrásné místo, jedno z nejromantičtějších na Hvaru. Pokud chcete strávit dovolenou v klidu a stranou od stovek a stovek dalších turistů, je to vaše ideální destinace. Zátoka je skrytá, pláž plná malých kulatých kamínků zve k moři, které je vždycky průzračně čisté. Do Pobije vede cesta bez asfaltu, která je ale pevná a dobře udržovaná. Jen 2 km za zátokou dále na jih je nádherná rybí restaurace Pakomina, kde lze večeřet přímo nad další podobně laděnou zátokou s výhledem na zapadající slunce. Místní lidé - rybáři v Pobiji, ale třeba i obsluha v Pakomině - jsou velmi přátelští, vřelí, a neskrývají žádné postranní úmysly. Celou dovolenou si člověk připadá jako na konci světa, a když chce, může udělat autem výlet po celém Hvaru. Apartmány Smiljanka jsou čisté, dobře vybavené, a přes horká odpoledne nabízejí příjemný stín a chládek. Vracíme se na tohle místo už několik let a vlastně jsme rezignovali na hledání dalších destinací v Chorvatsku, protože máme pocit, že jsme našli přesně to, co jsme hledali.
Już poraz kolejny wybraliśmy Hvar i ten apartament na nasz rodzinny urlop. Zależało nam na niezatłoczonej plaży, dzikim miejscu i dobrej cenie. Chcieliśmy się zaszyć w raju na ziemi.
Okazało się że wszystko to znaleźlismy na Plaży Pobij, małej zatoczce na wyspie Hvar. Przycupnęło tu na skałach parę skromnych domków, które są w posiadaniu członków jednej rodziny pochodzącej z wyspy od dziada pradziada.
Jest to typowa Robinsonada, o czym trzeba wiedzieć przed przyjazdem.Czyli prąd tylko tyle by naładować komórkę i poświecić wieczorem żarówkami. Ciepła woda tyle co słońce nagrzeje. Zapomnijcie o klimie - choć nigdy nie było za gorąco ( jeździmy na początku lipca)
Jest to miejsce dla kogoś kto chce sporadycznie opuszczać domek rozkoszując sie plażą, wodą i atmosferą miejsca. Do plaży jest praktycznie 20 stopni, nawet nie zbieraliśmy rzeczy , zostawiając je wrzucone do pontonu. Dom wyposażony jest w kuchenke na gaz i lodówkę oraz grill na drewno, więc posiłki robiliśmy sami. Jest dwie zatoczki obok Bar Pakomina na plaży gdzie mozna skoczyc na obiadek.Najbliższy sklep 20 min jazdy autem , ale uwaga raz na parę dni jeździ obwoźny sklepik! Można na wyspie znaleźć urocze miasteczka, które warto odwiedzić. My szukaliśmy sielankowej ciszy.Polecamy!

Very super holidays to bay Pobij for us and our grandchildren. Best holiday without TV and crowded beaches. We live in an apartment Smiljanka for 6 people. The apartment is large, clean with a big terrace over the sea. Grandchildren swim, we drink coffee on the terrace. We do not have to go anywhere, the beach is near the house. We sat on the terrace in the evening time, children play with friends. People here are very friendly. Big drawback: we must work and can not stay here all summer.

Our first visit was in summer 2011 from middle of august to the beginning of september.
We stayed in the 8 person appartment in robinsionada smiljianka.
About the apartment:
it was a nice and very clean apartment with everything we needed as furniture. 2 king size beds and 3 small beds for the kids.2 bathrooms with warm water and 2 showers.
The electric power was spent from a big battery, charged by solar power panels on the roof of the apartment. we had no problems at any time with electric power. we were able to charge our mobile phones and also our laptops using a dc/ac adapter. even when the weather was cloudy we had enough warm water and electric power. inside the kitchen we had a gas-powered stove and a gas-powered fridge. also like in the apartment there was enough space in the kitchen and the small storage room beside it. there was enough tableware for 8 people and everything was perfectly clean. additional to the apartment we had a small fire place where we can grill our meat and fish.
About the environment:
the style of the apartment is rustical and fits perfectly in the beautiful landscape of the bay where it belongs to. you can sit at the table and eat your breakfast while enjoying a view which is not really describable with words - clear blue water to the bottom of the sea directly in front of the kitchen. the landscape is mostly dominated by rocks and cypress trees - like in general in the southern parts of europe. it reminds to greece or turkey. the water is absolutely clear and clean. we never saw any part of garbage or dirt. neither at the beach nor at the rocks beside the bay. you can easyly go swimming in the bay without having any worries that the water will pull you out of it. the flow of the water is very weak, so that we dont had to worry about our kids or about us when we fell a sleep on the air mattress.insode the bay you find a lot of different fishes whic is really nice for going snorkeling and enjoying the beautiful view.the beach is not sand but little round rocks. in the nights there was a very very beautiful view to the night sky without any kind of disturbing lights from citys or streets so that we saw so much stars and even the milky way with bare eyes.
the way to the apartment is very easy to find, it is not possible to take the wrong way - there is only one. the car was parked a few meters above the bay and we never had to worry about if it would get stolen or damaged.
About the people:
in all the years of travelling we rarely met such nice and kindful people. everytime when we need something like gas, bread or anything else they helped us. we also got invited to fish and wine. we also had no problems with our kids at any time. we dont had to worry about them. they enjoyed playing at the beach, swimming in the sea and having fun at one of the most beautiful places on earth we ever been.
About the island:
a trip to the next bigger town - jelsa - took about 45 minutes. not because of the distance, more because of the street. it is not recommandable to drive fast on the main street. in jelsa we found everything we needed in the supermarket and a little bit of typical tourist stuff in some small shops. there is also a bigger store with tools and houseware in the next big city - stari grad, where we got batteries and screws. definately worth of visiting is the main town - hvar. a very lovely town with a very nice harbour and lots of small shops for vacation shopping.
the prices where nearly the same like in germany because the have to carry everything from the land to the island. we choose not to go eating in one of the restaurants in the towns because of the tourist prices. we found out, that there are many possibilities of having a nice meal in one of the small restaurants in the mddle of the island where less tourists are.
In general:
it was one of the most beautiful holidays for all of us and we decided to come back at the summer of 2012 and 2013. in europe there is no other place where you can find such a beauty and so nice people like there.

Un angolo di paradiso
Siamo una famiglia composta da mamma, papá e tre bambini di 8, 6 e 4 anni e abbiamo trascorso presso l'appartamento di Ivana una delle vacanze più belle della nostra vita. L\'appartamento è pulitissimo, confortevole e accogliente, con spazi interni ed esterni ampi e ben organizzati. La terrazza antistante l\'appartamento offre una vista della spiaggetta, degli scogli e del mare, che consente di sorvegliare i bambini che giocano e si divertono in libertà . È dotata anche di tavolo e sedie per poter consumare tutti i pasti dinanzi ad un panorama mozzafiato. Il mare è meraviglioso, pulito e ideale per chi ama lo snorkelling e il nuoto ed è incredibilmente vicino all'appartamento, basta scendere pochi scalini e si è in acqua. I padroni di casa sono estremamente gentili e disponibili e contiamo di ritornare al più presto nell\'appartamento di Ivana in questo angolo di paradiso.

V vekikom stanovanju smo bili 2013, dve družini - z velikimi in majhnimi otroki. To je čudovito, da se zbudiš zjutraj ob morju. Mama kuha kavo, in je že na plaži z deklico. Veliki otroci spijo dlje, ko se zbudim, se pridružijo plavati, nihče ne čaka nikogar in da je dopust res prijeten. V večernih urah smo dali deklico za spanje, in smo bili na terasi igral Uno, včasih smo gledali zvezde ali nevihta v daljavi. Narava je lepa, in stališča ostalega duše. Za nastanitev, vse je kot na slikah, vse je bleščeče čista, je bilo vse informacije pravilne in ne posladek. Domačini so prepričani, da udobrno bivanje. Za kompliment veliko mizo na terasi, pokrita z reed za prijetno senco in prostor za piknike. Smo imeli le malo težav s polnjenjem prenosni računalnik. Smo polni njim v avtu, ko smo šli v trgovino. Priporočeno za oddih za dušo!

I should say I hate it here so I assure us a free appt and prices for the future. But I can’t! We just loved it here. Private bay is just wonderful, water clean and got very warm during the last few days (the first week there were Bora winds along the Dalmatian coast which caused pretty nice waves, still able to swim). The place is pretty peaceful with kids running around and playing (our two sons enjoyed it). There is a little peace of sand beach for nonswimers and also few piers to enter and exit the water, to sunbath... Appts also offer enough privacy... If you have your own boat even better!
It was just a perfect place to be for the vacation and we will come back for sure! Ivana, thank you for having us here!

Fantastic place with private beach. You can enjoy the sun and sea. The nights are amazing, there is so much stars and they are so bright. And silence. That was most important for me.
